Choosing a host: what do you wish you had checked first?

The headline price is easy to compare. Renewal costs, backup restores and the limits behind “unlimited” tend to take a bit more digging.

If you were choosing hosting for a small business today, what would you ask before signing up? Was there a detail you overlooked on a previous plan that you now always check?
