1. Our data protection responsibilities
NS CLOUD LTD is the controller for personal information used on get-hosting.com. We handle requests under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, as amended, and the EU GDPR where it applies. Our privacy policy describes information collected, lawful bases, recipients, transfers and retention. This page explains how to exercise your rights.
2. Your rights
- Access: ask whether we process your personal information and request a copy and supporting information.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate personal information or complete information that is incomplete.
- Erasure: ask us to delete information where a legal ground applies.
- Restriction: ask us to limit processing in the circumstances provided by law.
- Portability: obtain qualifying information you supplied in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or ask us to transmit it where technically feasible.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests, including your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
- Consent withdrawal: withdraw consent for future processing, including optional analytics through Cookie settings, without affecting processing already lawfully performed.
- Automated decisions: ask for information about any relevant automated decision and the safeguards required by law. We do not use solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How to make a request
Email hello@sevimov.be with “Data protection request” in the subject, use our contact form, or write to the address above. Tell us the account email or public content concerned and what you would like us to do. You do not need to use legal language or a particular form. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or identity documents unless we request a proportionate identity check through an appropriate channel.
You can act through an authorised representative; we may need evidence of authority. We may ask for reasonable information to verify identity or clarify a request, in accordance with applicable law. Requests are normally free; a fee or refusal is possible only where legally permitted, and we will explain why.
4. Response times and limits
We normally respond within one month of receiving a request, subject to the lawful rules for necessary identity checks and clarification. Where a complex request or several requests permit an extension, we will explain within the initial period and may take up to two additional months. We will explain any decision not to act and how to challenge it.
Rights are not absolute. We may need to retain accounting records, protect other people’s rights, preserve evidence for legal claims, meet a legal obligation or protect lawful freedom of expression. Account closure and legal erasure are different: public reviews or forum discussions may remain where there is a valid legal reason, with identification removed where appropriate. Where applicable, we will tell relevant recipients about corrections, restrictions or erasure.
5. Your company and public content
Company owners can update permitted company details through their dashboard. Contact us if a public listing contains inaccurate personal information or you wish to object to its use. Business ownership does not allow access to a reviewer’s private information or removal of a genuine review simply because it is negative. We balance privacy, expression, fraud prevention and legal obligations when reviewing requests.
6. Complaints
Contact us first if you would like us to investigate a concern. You also have the right to complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. Where the EU GDPR applies, you may complain to the supervisory authority in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement. You do not have to contact us before contacting a regulator, and your right to seek a judicial remedy is unaffected.
